Matt The Terror Serra is he a fluke that got incredibly lucky or is he a real deal contender. Let's go back in time a bit. 2001 to 2004 his first big run in the ufc he goes 4-3 not that great since most of the victory came from less than stealler fighters. Anytime he fought a contender like BJ Penn he got the crap knocked out of him. He had one fight in 2005 Karo Parisyan which he lost. Then he was done until the Ultamite Fighter 4 where he got a second chance at the UFC. He defeated Chris Lytle in the finals and got to face Georges St-Pierre for the Welterweight Championship. Going into UFC 69 no one including me thought Serra had a chance against St-Pierre well miracles do happen because he beat him in 3:25 of the first round. Completing a Cinderella story back to the UFC.
