Now when he got the shot there were actually two champs. Randy and Nogueira and Mir was set to fight Nogueira. Randy came back and a little 4 man tournament to decided the undisputed champ. Who else was it going to be Tim Syliva had back to back losses. Hearing just lost. Lister was losing as well and no one else had really beaten a top contender. While I'll admit that it did drum up qay more interest Lesnar was a perfectly viable candidate for the shot.
