" It's becoming more and more flag football, two hand touch" Thank you Troy Polamalu. Just so you know, Troy is arguably the best safety in the NFL. Troy is the definition of the systematic destruction of anything and everything in the way, even his own body. Just hit something, even if it's your own teammate. Here is a four time pro bowl safety speaking out against the " let's not hurt anyone " NFL. Could ya take defense out of the game just a little more!!! Maybe I'm biased, I'm the 10-7 in the 4th quarter, bloody, body parts hanging, kicking, screaming, clawing in 20 degree weather with so much mud that you can't tell who is who football fan. Penalties posted on 10/01/2008
  Time Of Possession, Field Position, Turnovers and Penalties!!!!  These are the BIG FOUR in football.  Statistics have proven that winning three of these four categories ups your odds of walking away with a W.  The past few weeks there have been some questionable calls in the NFL.  Fines have been levied, refs have been punished, THE TIDES HAVE RISEN AND THE END OF EXISTECE IS AT HAND!!!  I've heard from so many fans "That call effected the outcome of the game"  One question.  Doesn't all penalties effect the outcome of games?  Think about it.  What would football be without a questionable call,  or a no call for that matter?  The league saw fit to give penalties a separate category.  Why, because it affe

THE RUN posted on 09/30/2008
  I'd venture a guess that this week and every week forever & a day, the boys will establish the run.  One of the first things out of Wade Phillips mouth during his Monday press conference was, "We didn't run the ball enough."  Some sports reporter asked if 8 in the box was overrated.  Phillip's reply, "We stacked 8 in the box, and they still ran the ball effectively" The first 3 games of the regular season the Cowboys used Barber, Jones and that big offensive line to perfection.  Play action works very well when you have Owens, Witten, Crayton an now Miles Davis to throw to.  Smash mouth football works.  It wins championships.  It's always won championships.  The Washington Redskins didn't beat t
