Fedor Fedor Fedor, a name that's known to almost everyone who's even spent five minutes watching MMA. Generally considered by most blogger and well the so-called experts to be the best fighter in the world and with a record of 29-1 I guess he can back that claim up. Then again can he really.
Now I will admit on here that I was on the side of the fence that believed that Fedor had gone the way of Tito Ortiz a fighter that once was great and now is more just riding on the coattails of his name. Then came the match with Tim Sylvia in which Fedor proceeded to pound the crap out of him shutting a lot of his nay sayers up in the process. I will have to admit when I first heard about the fight I thought Fedor would get his jaw knocked off and the exact opposite happened. however to all the Fedor worshipers out there you do realize that Tim has not had the greatest past couple of years for fighting has he. After Tim Fedor choked out Andrei Arlovski in the first round once again look at Arlovski's record in the past couple of years. In my mind all that Fedor's done is just prove that he's still one of the top fighters out there but no where near the best in the world. Not with guys like Anderson Silva, Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans, Georges St. Pierre in the mix.
